Georgian College’s Mindful Leadership Workshop Series

The Barrie Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Georgian College to bring mindful leadership and sales training to you! These one-day workshops are for local executives, entrepreneurs, and team leaders, and will be conveniently held at the Barrie Chamber of Commerce office.
FOSTERING INNOVATION IN YOUR TEAM
Leaders are the major influencers of innovation for every organization. Frontline leaders manage individual contributors and are the conduit for up-to-date knowledge, business challenges, and information about your customers.
This course provides a practical approach, and tools and techniques, to help leaders and their teams think differently about how they work and to help them generate new ideas that add value to your organization and your customers. Leaders also learn what they can say and do to foster innovation with their teams.
INSTRUCTOR: Chris McBrien
A certified corporate trainer, Chris brings years of experience in marketing and communication to the classroom where he engages students with his energetic delivery.
After achieving a Degree in Political Science, Chris spent years in the corporate world as a Marketing Manager. He then moved into the academic realm as a professor of business and marketing at Georgian College where he brings his dynamic style into the classroom. Chris also serves as the Program Coordinator for the General Business and Business Administration programs. He is currently an Executive MBA candidate with the University of Fredericton.
Chris has been piling up the accolades since he first began podcasting in 2012. His accomplishments include FSWA and FSTA industry award recognitions as well as achieving international Podcast Award nominations in 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Registration fees include all course materials, lunch, and 2 snack breaks. Participants are to bring laptop or tablet device if they would like to use one; wifi access will be available on-site.
